Dr. Jennifer Liang is a highly skilled general and colorectal surgeon. She has completed her fellowship in 2015 under the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr. Liang successfully secured a subspecialist training position with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). As part of her training, she spent a year at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA, followed by rotations at the esteemed Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and Royal Melbourne Hospital.


Jennifer possesses extensive expertise in managing a diverse range of disease states and health disorders. This includes but is not limited to benign anorectal conditions (such as perianal sepsis/abscess, anal fissure, anal fistula, and hemorrhoids), laparoscopic and open surgeries for inflammatory bowel diseases (such as UC and Crohn’s), surgical interventions for rectal cancer, pelvic floor disorders (including fecal incontinence and slow transit constipation), surgical procedures for hereditary bowel cancers (such as HNPCC and FAP), re-operative surgery for J-pouch, enterocutaneous fistulae, and recurrent rectal cancers. Additionally, Jennifer holds accreditation from the esteemed College of Physicians to perform both upper and lower endoscopies.


Dr. Liang is presently employed at the esteemed Royal Brisbane Women’s and Caboolture Hospitals. She has earned a PHD in General Surgery from Auckland University for her laboratory research conducted at Cleveland Clinic Ohio. Dr. Liang has gained recognition for providing exemplary patient care, demonstrating sensitivity towards cultural considerations, exhibiting a pleasant bedside manner, fostering clear communication, and showcasing unwavering dedication to her patients.
